In 2011 JabuAfrica will focus on raising money for orphaned babies and children in Kinshasa and providing encouragement and support for leaders and volunteers of orphanages in Democratic Republic of the Congo. We will be partnering with grassroots initiatives in DRC doing work on behalf of orphans, one such group is Our Family in Africa (OFA). OFA facilitated the adoption of our son but the longstanding mission of OFA is to educate others and serve orphans in Congo. Our relationship with OFA gives us direct contact with amazing men and women serving in DRC and ensures accountability for resources shared. In addition to our work in DRC, in the coming years we will also provide resources and support to orphanages in Ethiopia and South Africa. Current projects will be shared through the Blog.
